How to bake carp with onions in the oven whole? Prepare the products. Clean the fish from scales, remove gills and innards, rinse the belly well. 
Peel the onions and slice into thin quarter rings.

Place the sliced onions in a bowl, add the peppercorns to them. Break the bay leaves into the onions. Crush the onions with your hands, mixing them with the spices.

Unroll a sheet of foil on the table. Place one-third of the sliced onions on it. Place the fish on the onion pillow.

Salt the outside and inside of the fish well. Rub the salt in with your hands. Put another third of the onions in the belly. Put the rest on top of the carp. Pour vegetable oil on top of the fish. 
Wrap the fish well in several layers of foil.

Place the roll for 2 hours in the refrigerator. Then lay it out on a baking tray. Preheat the oven to a temperature of 200°C. Put the carp to bake in the oven for about an hour. The exact time will depend on the features of your oven and the size of the fish. 
Remove the finished fish from the oven.

Serve baked carp with onions to the table with any garnish. Bon appetit!
